The aim is to procure external archive services to provide technical support to municipalities and cantonal bodies in the context of the BE Archive service offering. The contract includes the provision of archival consulting and support services. These range from specific technical issues, through support of introduction and connection projects to the digital long-term archive (dLZA) through to more comprehensive consulting mandates in the area of setting up and managing digital archives. The services can be obtained from both municipalities and cantonal bodies (in particular the bodies responsible for applications and the state archive) and, if necessary, are specified using a retrieval procedure (mini-tender). The tender takes place in two lots (German and French speaking services). Framework contracts are concluded with four providers for each lot.
