Title: Sources Sought Notice for Probes
The purpose of this sources sought notice is to conduct market research and identify potential sources of commercial products/services that satisfy the Government-s anticipated needs.
BACKGROUND
NIST requires five (5) 220 GHz on-wafer probes for a 220 GHz Anritsu VectorStar. All equipment must include a 1-year warranty with maintenance. The probes will be used for the manufacturing of on-wafer standards for S-parameters and Power to 330 GHz. The objective of the requirement is to provide known permittivity measurements for on-wafer traceability for S-parameters, Power, and Phase. This requirement supports the NIST CHIPS program to develop and disseminate NIST best practices and algorithms for complex permittivity and on-wafer measurement.
NIST is seeking information from sources that may be capable of providing a solution that will achieve the objectives described above, in addition to the following essential requirements:
