The Project is generally described as the design and construction of a new arena with an NHL-size ice rink, and overhead walking track, integrated with the existing Castlegar & District Community Complex. Through this RFPQ, the RDCK intends to shortlist Respondents for a possible Stage 2 NRFP. The maximum design-build contract price for the Project is up to $15, 000, 000, including PST and excluding GST, net of the value attributed to primary facility naming rights in accordance with the procurement framework described in this RFPQ. For clarity, this maximum design-build contract price is intended to be an all-inclusive contract price ceiling, and any subsequent Stage 2 Price B submission must include the Proponent-s allowance for design development, coordination, contingencies, escalation, and all other risks and costs that are to be borne by the Design-Builder under the contract.
