The overarching objective of the mapping and diagnostic is to generate a comprehensive, verified, and analytically robust picture of the private health sector in the West Bank, covering hospitals, pharmaceutical entities, and medical suppliers, in order to:(i) Develop a comprehensive (a) facility registry of private sector health entities; and (b) service registry for identified providers detailing service provision, quality, and financial performance. Both registries will cover hospitals and pharmaceutical entities in the West Bank;(ii) Support data collection and data validation (where available), as well as interaction with a subset of private sector entities to benchmark them against local, regional, and global peers;(iii) Identify service gaps, geographic disparities, and structural barriers to quality improvement and investment; (iv) Synthesize findings and recommend follow-on opportunities to further support select healthcare entities.
