The Vancouver Island Health Authority (“Island Health”) is seeking qualified contractor to provide all labour, materials, equipment, and services required to complete HVAC and domestic hot water system upgrades at the Priory Long Term Care Facility - Heritage Woods, located at 567 Goldstream Avenue, Langford, BC.
The scope of work includes, but is not limited to, the following:
Removal and replacement of two existing gas-fired hot water heaters and hot water tank with new air-source heat pump hot water tanksInstallation of a backup on-demand hot water heater to support domestic hot water supplyPhased upgrades to the domestic hot water (DHW) systems to maintain operations and minimize disruption to facility servicesInstallation of a new Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) heat pump coil and condensing unit system, including all associated piping, controls, and mounting supportsElectrical and building automation system (BAS) integration, including upgrades to support new mechanical equipmentRelated mechanical modifications, including piping, valves, insulation, and structural supports where requiredCommissioning and testing of all systems, including integration into the existing facility infrastructureIsland Health prefers a Ready-for-Takeover date of October 30th, 2025, subject to coordination with facility operations and project scheduling requirements.
