Description : Bergen kommune (Bergen Municipality) wants to have discussions with the market concerning services and technology that can contribute to overall ID management in Bergen kommune (Bergen Municipality).
Bergen Municipality operates, maintains and uses a large number of systems. The users of the systems must be able to have the role of employee and resident in the municipality. Systems in use will cover different purposes and needs, and will be integrated with multiple of the Municipality's systems and national solutions.
The vision is an open architecture where authentication and identity providers can be associated with the municipality based on security classification. Management of the users and information about users must function comprehensively and safeguard users from different environments (internal and external).
The overall ID management will result in:
— increased user-friendliness;
— increased security;
— streamlined management.
