The subject of the public procurement includes: printing and delivery of Bulgarian banknotes, issues of the BNB, with denominations of BGN 5, 10, 20, 50 and 100, in accordance with Appendix No. 1 - "Technical specification of Bulgarian banknotes" and banknotes-printed sample, provided by the contracting authority.
Forecastthe (indicative) quantities for all nominal Bulgarian banknotes are a total of 135 million banknotes.
The nominal and technical characteristics of Bulgarian banknotes are defined in "Technical Specification of Bulgarian Banknotes" (Appendix No. 1) and in "Tolerances and Deviations inthe quality when printing Bulgarian banknotes" (Appendix No. 5), which contain confidential information. Appendix No. 1 and Appendix No. 5 will be provided only to candidates invited to submit bids after the pre-selection has been conducted, under the terms and conditions of the tender documentationthe order.
The requirements of the contracting authority regarding the banknote paper, as well as the inks that will be used in the printing of the banknotes, the subject of the order, are described in detail in the "Technical specification of the banknote paper and inks required for printingthe issue of Bulgarian banknotes" (Appendix No. 2) and represent classified information. In view of this, Appendix No. 2, as well as the banknotes - a printed sample, will be provided only to the participant selected as an executor after the conclusion of the public procurement contract.
