The City invites bids from qualified architectural firms to provide complete consulting services for the design and implementation of the Lakeview Golf Course Maintenance Building, located at 1190 Dixie Road, Mississauga, Ontario, L5E 2P4.
The purpose of this project is to redevelop the existing Lakeview Golf Course (‘LGC-) Maintenance Building by demolishing the outdated structure and constructing a new facility at the same location on this heritage designated course. Construction scheduling is of paramount importance to limit impacts during the golfing season. Consultants are to review and propose pre-engineered structures and pre-fabricated elements to expedite construction schedules.
This redevelopment aims to enhance operational efficiency and better support the golf course maintenance team-s functional requirements. See Appendix C - Statement of Work with Schedule B - Architect-s Services for a detailed overview of the project scope and consulting services requirements.
Through the process described in this RFP, the City will select a qualified architectural firm to act as the prime consultant, having total responsibility for all necessary sub-consulting services, including but not being limited to engineering disciplines, building envelope design including options for a pre-engineered building structure and envelope, building code expertise, accessibility design, landscape design, cost estimating, to provide full consulting services to plan, coordinate, des...
