This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in federal acquisition regulation (far) subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Submit offers on niaid-rfq19-1972083.
This solicitation is a request for quotes (rfq). The solicitation documents and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through federal acquisition circular (fac) 2019-02, effective june 5, 2019. The associated north american industry classification system (naics) code for this procurement is 811219 with a small business size standard of $20.5m.
The national institute of allergy and infectious diseases (niaid), is seeking a service agreement for siemens freezer monitoring system. Vendor must guarantee original equipment manufacturer (oem) parts, equipment, and software. In addition, vendor must be an authorized siemens service provider at rfq close. Please see attached statement of work for specifics.
The award will be based on best value to the government on the following: price; capability to meet the requirements, past performance, and response time. Quotes that are not technically acceptable or that do not meet the material terms of this solicitation will not be evaluated on price, past performance, or response time.
The government intends to award without discussions, but reserves the right to conduct discussions should it be deemed in the government`s best interest. Far provisions and clauses are attached.
