PROJECT DESCRIPTION / SCOPE OF WORK: Prequalification of General Contractors
The purpose of this RFSQ document is to prequalify a list of General Contractors who comply with the qualifications listed herein to perform general contracting services for various addition, renovation and improvement projects contemplated by the Board. Proponents will be qualified according to the Category or Categories for which they apply. Only those Proponents selected and approved by the Board will be allowed to bid on projects in the Category or Categories noted herein.
The Board will be prequalifying General Contractors based on the following Categories:
Category A (small): Total estimated construction cost greater than $100, 000 and less than $500, 000
Category B (medium): Total estimated construction cost greater than $500, 001 and up to $1, 000, 000
Category C (large): Total estimated construction cost greater than $1, 000, 001 and up to $4, 000, 000
Note: General Contractors who are currently working on a project with the Board or who regularly bid on the Board-s construction projects are required to respond to this RFSQ. General Contractors that do not participate in this pre-qualification process will not be considered for the VOR list to be invited to bid on future projects.
