INSERT SHORT DESCRIPTION OF PROJECT The purpose of this RFQ is to establish a pre-qualified pool of consultants who may be invited to participate in future project specific requests as needs arise. It is the intent of the Hernando County Board of County Commissioners to place the pre-qualified firms under the classification of Geotechnical Services and/or Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services. The pre-qualified firms will be assigned work on a task order rotation basis in the majority of instances. CEI services may include, but are not limited to, monitoring the progress and quality of construction work, ensuring construction work meets specifications and required standards, evaluating feasibility and practicality of construction methods, providing construction estimates, and reviewing and evaluating claims related to a construction project.Individual projects to be included in the Scope of Work will be miscellaneous in scope, of varied size and complexity as required by Hernando County and in conformance with the Consultants Competitive Negotiation Act (CCNA), Section 287.055 of the Florida Statutes. The County reserves the right to award multiple Contracts for Construction Engineering and Inspection Services and one or more contracts for Geotechnical Services. Contract to one (1) or more Consultants.
