THIS IS A PRESOLICITATION NOTICE, NOT AN INVITATION FOR PROPOSALS
The Contracting Department, NAVSUP Fleet Logistic Center (FLC), Norfolk intends to negotiate a Firm Fixed-Price contract and will utilize procedures under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12. This requirement will be a Sole Source award directly solicited to Cospolich INC.
Sole sourced vendor will provide one (1) prepped condensing unit for walk-in thaw box model WIC92408 serial number: 1248- 13. A "prepped" condensing unit in a commercial thawing box powers the refrigeration system that safely defrosts frozen food. It continuously regulates the box's temperature to perfectly balance thawing without entering the "danger zone, " which ensures food stays fresh and safe. This new unit is a direct replacement aboard the CVN-78 and is compatible with existing systems and includes aftermarket addition/changes to components to fit within the current configuration.
