by deliberation of December 12, 2023, subject to the promulgation of the law authorizing the City to create a casino, the municipal council authorized the opening of a casino in the City, approved the use of a service delegation contract public to operate the casino and authorized the mayore to launch the contract award procedure. This deliberation was confirmed on December 20, 2023 after the promulgation of law 2023-1178 allowing the City of Saumur to create a casino.
By deliberation of December 20, 2023, the municipal council decided to acquire a real estate complexr registered section AP no. 246 and 253 with a surface area of 1080 m2 and located on Quai Carnot in SAUMUR, for the reception of the casino.
The project to see the City of Saumur equipped with a casino is based on the desire to boost the local economy and to promote tourism development in the area.
