Fortum Power and Heat Oy is replacing old natural gas/light fuel oil boiler in Kirkkonummi and investing to a new boiler in Espoo Juvanmalmi heat production plant. Boilers are producing heat to Fortum-s district heating network. New needed boiler capacities are 16 MW (Juvanmalmi) and 5 MW (Kirkkonummi). The new boilers shall be ready for commercial operation in the end of August 2026 (preliminary).
