This Pre-qualification (PQ) is for the Design and Build for the expansion of an existing Light Rail Transit (LRT) depot. LTA invites applications for PQ from civil engineering contractors with proven expertise and experience in the design and construction of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) stations or LRT, viaducts, piling and associated works in a river, and rail depot with its associated facilities. 2. Applicants shall note that registration with the Building and Construction Authority (BCA) under CW02 -Civil Engineering workhead in financial category A1 OR Limited A1 is the minimum qualifying criteria for this PQ exercise. 3. Applicants shall demonstrate that they have the necessary:

(a)Technical expertise, project management capability and physical resources in the design and construction of similar works; and

(b)Financial capacity to undertake and sustain a multi-million dollar project in Singapore.
