The Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will be soliciting an Invitation for Bids (IFB) for “I-280/Wolfe Road Interchange Improvement Construction” (Project).Notice is hereby given that VTA is now soliciting Statements of Qualifications (SOQ) from bidders (Bidders) with construction expertise to furnish all labor, materials, tools, equipment, services, supervision, and incidentals necessary to modify the Wolfe Road interchange on I-280 in the City of Cupertino to improve traffic operations and provide facilities for multimodal forms of transportation including bicycle, pedestrian and high occupancy vehicle uses at the I-280 and Wolfe Road interchange. The proposed improvements include: replace the existing Wolfe Road structure, implement Complete Streets elements, reconstruct existing on-ramps and off-ramps; modify existing local street intersections and upgrade bicycle and pedestrian facilities along Wolfe Road; and construct retaining walls and sound walls as needed.
