The Luso Canadian Charitable Society is undertaking a significant supportive-housing development at 922 Main Street East, Hamilton, Ontario, consisting of the adaptive reuse of theexisting heritage church structure and the construction of a new 6-storey residential building. The completed facility is intended to provide 30 residential units and accommodate up to 45individuals requiring long-term, professionally supported housing services. This development forms part of Luso-s broader initiative to expand accessible, inclusive, andcommunity-based residential care for adults with physical and developmental disabilities. The project integrates heritage restoration, new construction, and modern accessibility standards within a single coordinated development located in a dense urban environment.

ONIT Construction Inc. has been retained as the Construction Manager for this project. In this capacity, ONIT is responsible for administering the construction management process, including pre-construction planning, trade procurement, coordination of subcontracted work, construction oversight, and the implementation of site safety and quality-control measures. ONIT will act on behalf of the Owner in managing the competitive procurement of trade contractors and in overseeing the execution of the Work in accordance with the project-s design, schedule, and regulatory requirements.

This Prequalification is issued solely for the purpose of identifying Electrical Contractors with the requisite experience, capacity, and financial and technical capability to perform the Electrical scope of work for this project. Inclusion on any prequalified list resulting from this process is not a guarantee of future work, nor does it create any contractual or legal obligations on the part of ONIT or the Owner.
