Prequalification Phase Sub -Contract 09 CO2 Transport
The procurement concerns the purchase of the transport of CO2 from the CCS plant and to the Port of Oslo. The scope is assumed to be up to 12, 000 transport per year. The agreement will ensure 24-hour continuous, capacity, emission-free and safe transport of liquid carbon dioxide (CO2) from the carbon capture plant at Klemetsrud and to the CO2 terminal in the Port of Oslo, and the transport of carbon dioxide in gas form back to the storage plant at Klemetsrud. 24 -hour continuous transport capacity is required because the maximum production is 1200 tonnes per day (50 tonnes per hour) and the use capacity of the fishing system is approx. 1200 tonnes. The average 24 -hour production, including scheduled outbreaks for maintenance, is estimated at 959 tonnes. This corresponds to an annual production of 350, 000 tonnes per year. In normal operation, the plant goes to full capacity. The operating period is 5 years and starts running 15.01.2029 with an option of another 3 + 2 years. The operating period shall run from the time the facility is in normal operation and reliability test is carried out. The contract also contains some delivery activities to be carried out before the operating period.
