Tender Details
Products or services: Syringe pumps The purpose of this tender is the contracting of the Syringe Pump Rental Service for the Dr. Hernán Henríquez Aravena Hospital, aimed at ensuring the correct and safe administration of medications through continuous infusion at low flows (less than 1 ml/h), through continuous syringe infusion pumps (BIC). This type of infusion constitutes a common and essential practice in the Neonatal and Pediatric Intensive Care Units, considering that newborns, infants and pediatric patients in critical condition often require the simultaneous administration of multiple drugs in continuous infusion, such as inotropes, analgesics and sedatives. For this type of patients, the use of low flows is essential in order to avoid excessive volume delivery, which could compromise their clinical condition. In this context, it is essential that the Critical Patient Units (UPC) have systems of precise, safe and reliable infusion, which ensure the correct dosage and administration of medications, thus contributing to the safety and quality of clinical care. These bases refer to the conditions and technical characteristics required for the purpose of contracting the Syringe Pump Rental Service for the Dr. Hernán Henríquez Aravena Hospital, hereinafter: “the equipment”, for a period of twenty-four (24) months. The acquisition will be made in accordance with the Annual Purchasing Plan 2026 (PAC 2026), with current legislation, administrative and technical bases, among others that constitute the required call for bids.
