The IESO is responsible for the planning and operation of the IESO-controlled grid and of the IESO-administered markets. As part of its mandate, the IESO performs power system studies associated with planning of future upgrades and expansions to the Ontario power system, assessment of new or modified connections, maintenance and derivation of power system limits, performance validation and modelling of new or modified equipment and facilities, planning of outages to transmission system equipment and real-time operations of the IESO-controlled grid and IESO-administered markets. To ensure the IESO is able to meet the demand of this critical work, the IESO is seeking to establish a list of qualified Vendors of Record to supplement and support its internal workforce, as further detailed in the RVOR document.This RVOR is being re-opened to allow Proponents who have not already entered into a VOR Agreement, to submit Proposals. Existing VORs do NOT need to reapply.Proponents who may have been unsuccessful previously in being selected as Vendors of Record under this RVOR, will be able to resubmit submissions in any of the reopening periods. The submission criteria and evaluation process for all reopening periods of this RVOR, will be exactly the same as for the original RVOR process, to ensure that all submissions are evaluated to the same criteria and in the same manner.
