The government is conducting market research to identify companies that may possess knowledge and/or information valuable for future planning activities related to competently and competitively responding to the ongoing requirements to provide performance-based acquisition, modifications and sustainment for the joint primary aircraft training system (jpats) post production efforts encompassing tasks of analysis, design, development, production, installation, integration, test, certification (faa/mil), systems engineering, program management, contractor field teams, database generation, data management and sustainment activities including but not limited to: supply or services, correction of deficiencies, obsolescence, and product improvements/enhancements for the t-6a/b/d and associated ground based training systems (gbts) across us government and foreign military sales (fms) customers. Information gathered will aid government efforts to establish a streamlined and standardized acquisition process for delivering and supporting us air force and us navy jpats, us army test & amp; evaluation aircraft, gbts and fms.
