Halifax Water is a municipally owned utility responsible for delivering water, wastewater, and stormwater services to residents of the Halifax Regional Municipality. Operating on a cost-of-service basis, Halifax Water is committed to providing high-quality, sustainable water services while protecting public health and the environment. Halifax Water is seeking qualified contractors to undertake infrastructure upgrades at two locations: 35 Eisener Blvd and 4 Portland Estates Blvd. The contractor will be responsible for obtaining all necessary permits and performing excavation to expose the existing 10” water main at Portland Estates Blvd and the 12” water main at Eisener Blvd. Pipe sections will be cut and removed to accommodate the installation of precast manhole chambers and meters-specifically, a 10” meter at Portland Estates Blvd and a 12” meter at Eisener Blvd. The contractor must supply and install all additional hardware required for reinstatement, including risers, manhole covers, and any necessary adjustments to meet HRM specifications.
