Proponents are invited to submit a Proposal for the Supply and Support Services of a Portable Cellular Network (PCN) for the Ministry of Water, Land and Resource Stewardship (WLRS) & Natural Resource Information and Digital Services (NRIDS) to support the British Columbia Wildfire Service (BCWS).



The proposed Service will enable cellular service at front line operations of natural disasters in British Columbia (BC), and potentially other neighbouring provinces as required to support BC crews where they are deployed.



The Province is seeking an existing system rather than collaborating on the development of a substantially new system.



The term of the Contract resulting from this RFP is anticipated to be a one-year (1) term which, at the sole discretion of the Province, may be extended by four (4) additional one-year terms ("Renewal Term/s"); or a three (3) year term which, at the sole discretion of the Province, may be extended by two (2) additional one-year terms. Resource requirements for these years may be increased or reduced depending upon future development requirements.
