Framework contracts for operating services (PaaS - Platform as a Service) are advertised. Through these framework agreements, the PTI partners should be able to obtain operating and services from the tender recipients. The term of the framework agreements is five years, with the possibility of extension for a maximum of four additional years. The individual contracts can be issued within the framework of the term of the framework agreements, but can run for a maximum of 5 years beyond that (i.e. conclusion of an individual contract for 5 years on the last day of validity of the framework agreement). Standardized IT resources such as computing power, virtual systems on demand, GPU capacities and operational services are procured across the various capacities for PoliceCloud users be made available for certain periods of time and supported with services. These should be able to be used flexibly without each corps having to operate its own hardware or infrastructure. Both existing (e.g. PTI products) as well as new applications (e.g. from PTI projects) that are tailored to the needs of the police force can be operated. Admin access is provided via PTI's existing identity and access management system (IAM, SSO). The service providers integrate the existing IAM and the management is based on PTI's existing operational guidelines. This means users can easily and securely access the services and data they need.
