The object of procurement is various ballistic protective shields with accessories. The purpose of the protective shield is to protect its user against, for example, the threat caused by firearms or edged weapons, to support the authority's operations and, if necessary, to also protect the authority's equipment.
The procurement is divided into four sub-areasen:
1) Rifle shield with accessories
2) Heavy rifle shield with accessories
3) Light rifle shield with accessories
4) Soft protective shield with accessories
The candidate does not yet have to indicate in his application for participation the area for which he intends to leave the offer.
Procuring units involved in the procurement:
Policegovernment (police), Aland Police Authority, Border Guard and Customs. Each procurement unit involved in the procurement makes its own procurement contract, incl. Aland's police authority, which will be included in the contract of the Police Board (police).
Based on the competition, tulla to choose one supplier per sub-area. In addition, a deputy supplier will be selected for each sub-area. A contract can be concluded with the alternate supplier, if the supplier selected for the sub-area does not complete the participation request or tender request at the beginning of the contract period or during the contract periodoe's terms and conditions and the procurement unit ends by terminating or canceling the contract with the selected supplier.
