Plumbing services for municipal buildings and structures Background Bygland municipality has an older building stock and technical installations, which means an increased need for plumbing services. Older pipe systems and components cause more frequent leaks, greater maintenance requirements and increased risk of water damage and consequential damage. The municipality needs to associate a plumbing company that can contribute both in ongoing maintenance and in the event of emergency incidents. The acquisition will help to reduce vulnerability in the event of pipe breaks and other operational anomalies, ensure rapid follow-up when necessary and facilitate documented work carried out in the municipality's buildings and facilities. Description of the assignment Bygland municipality must enter into a framework agreement on plumbing services for the entire municipal building stock, including VA-related installations. The assignment includes both planned and need-triggered services. The delivery shall include, among other things, ongoing maintenance, troubleshooting, repair of leaks as well as replacement of older pipes, valves and associated components. The agreement must cover work in municipal buildings and facilities, and be suitable for both ordinary maintenance tasks and urgent tasks. The municipality needs a supplier who can respond to urgent incidents with a quick response, including same-day call-outs if needed and availability also in weekends. The purpose of the acquisition is to ensure stable operation, reduce downtime in municipal buildings and prevent damage as a result of failure in the pipe systems.
