Plowing and winter operations in Byglandsfjord and the hamlets Background Bygland municipality needs to enter into a new agreement for plowing and winter operations in Byglandsfjord and associated hamlets, as the current agreement has expired. The purpose of the procurement is to ensure safe and passable traffic on municipal roads, parking areas, pitches and access roads in the winter season. The acquisition will cover the municipality's ongoing needs for winter maintenance in the event of snowfall and slippery roads. It is particularly important to maintain the necessary preparedness throughout around the clock, so that critical areas can be dealt with quickly and school routes can be prioritized if necessary. The municipality needs a supplier with sufficient capacity, suitable equipment and the ability to deliver stably throughout the contract period. The supplier must be able to handle ordinary operations as well as extraordinary weather conditions within the geographical area covered by the agreement.
