Description and Scope of the Effort
Platform One currently provides ChatOps connecting more than 50, 000 users conducting operations globally. To integrate evolving, innovative capabilities into the ChatOps framework, Platform One is exploring the use of open standards, such as Matrix (matrix.org), for open-federated instant messaging, voice over IP, and video communication. Platform One seeks information on best-of-breed open standards, supporting chat applications, innovative integration support, and additional industry insights for evolving ChatOps into a warfighting capability. The desired capability must be accessible from mobile and web devices and support self-hosting within a government-managed cloud environment.
