Background and Purpose McMaster University has a requirement for the purchase of “The Plasma Assisted Reactive Magnetron Sputter System (PARMS)”. The PARMS system should be capable of depositing dense, hydrogen-free silicon nitride, aluminium oxide and silicon dioxide films with precise control over film stress and thickness, which are essential for achieving low-loss photonic devices.
