TransGas requires Pipe Hauling Services, on an “as required” basis, to transport steel pipe from pipe mills, distributors or coating facilities to various locations within Saskatchewan. The hauler will be required to supply everything needed to load, unload and store the pipe and bends safely at the specified laydown areas and should be able to offer less than truckload (LTL) or full truckload (FTL) services. Loading and unloading may not be required by the hauler on every job. In addition, the hauler may need to pick up pipe from our pipe supplier-s yard in Alberta and may be required to store the pipe in the hauler-s secured yard until the project site is ready and the pipe can be transported to the project site. The hauler will need to have the capability to transport steel pipe and bends ranging in diameter from ½” to 20” and in length from 6m to 18m. The hauler may also be required to leave a trailer with pipe at the project site.
