Description : This PIN is to inform the supply chain that Sellafield Ltd is currently considering the challenge of developing standardised robotics control architecture which in the future may be used to operate all of Sellafield's robots. Sellafield Ltd's technology study will be conducted through the Game Changers programme. The technical study will explore the technical feasibility and potential benefits offered by introducing standardised robotics control architecture across the Sellafield site.A range of robots of varying size, complexity and manufacture are used on the Sellafield site in a wide variety of applications. A technology study will be initiated through a Challenge Statement on Game Changers.
