Expression of Interest are invited for Piloting a Mentoring Program for the Activation of Roma Women in the Care Economy in North Macedonia
The objective of this assignment is to pilot a program designed to support the activation of Roma women in the care economy in North Macedonia. Specifically; the pilot aims at providing targeted mentoring support by Roma women to Roma women interested in engaging in the care economy during the process of obtaining training certificates and finding and retaining employment opportunities in that sector. The pilot will explicitly take into account the challenges of Roma women in accepting and retaining employment in the care economy that are identified in the Tracer Study (see above). A secondary objective is to learn from this pilot to inform future scaling strategies for the activation of Roma women and other vulnerable groups; whether in the care economy or other sectors of the economy.
