The subject of the procurement is the extension of Pihpuisto elementary school and kindergarten Kaunoki, as well as the technical and functional renovation of the existing building as a fixed-price total contract, where the contractor selected for the work acts as the main contractor as intended by YSE 1998 conditions and legislation as the acting principal implementer.
In the repaired part, construction technical repairs, renewal of building technology and surface improvements are carried out. The overhaul is included also the renovation of the building's building technology and the fixed furnishing of the premises, as well as the construction of the building's courtyard areas and the parking and traffic areas in the courtyard. The structural engineering and technical demolitions on the side of the school to be renovated are also part of this contract. The construction must take into account the restrictive regulations regarding trees and yard fencing according to the site plan, building on top of a rock, location in the protection zone of the water body, construction work on the adjacent plot and the construction site's plot limited street works, which are partly scheduled at the same time as the contract.
According to the estimate at the moment, the goal is to sign the contract in January 2026 shortly after the turn of the year, and the target start time for construction work is by the end of January 2026. Construction goal...
