UNICEF works in some of the world-s toughest places, to reach the world-s most disadvantaged children. To save their lives. To defend their rights. To help them fulfill their potential.

Across 190 countries and territories, we work for every child, everywhere, every day, to build a better world for everyone.

And we never give up.

Background

As part of the transition of UNICEF website to the new platform that requires engaging content on UNICEF-s programmes. The Advocacy Partnership and Communication section has undertaken stocktaking of existing content for each of UNICEF Myanmar programmes. In the process, it has come to the attention of the section that education related content is minimal and there is a need to produce a compelling story on the different output of the sector. In line with this, the Education Section has identified Early Childhood Intervention (ECI), Non-formal Middle School Education (NFME) and School-based In-service Teacher Education also known as SITE to be documented.

Regarding the method of production, it was agreed to produce a photo story on the NFME and SITE and produce a l video and feature story on ECI with the angle of the capturing the progress of the programme that provides support for children in their natural environment either at home or at inclusive preschools, where parents and other caregivers can easily access services and trained personnel can make regular home visits.

In this context, the Advocacy, Partnerships and Communication Sections seeks an experienced professional photographer to document the three programmes and produce sets of photos that can also be used to mobilize further resources for the programme.
