Description : 1. The Authority of the Freeport Area of Bataan (AFAB) through its Bids and Awards Committee (BAC) invites contractors to apply for eligibility and to participate in the bidding for the above-mentioned project in accordance with the Revised Implementing Rules and Regulations (RIRR) of Republic Act (RA) 9184, otherwise known as the “Government Procurement Reform Act”.
2. The issuance of the corresponding Notice of Award (NOA) for vehicle projects (items D & E) shall only be made upon receipt of the Authority to Purchase Motor Vehicles (APMV) from the Department of Budget and Management. The AFAB reserves the right to declare a failure of bidding if the funds/allotments for the project have been withheld or reduced through no fault of the procuring entity.
