Pharmacy Services-Biggar and District Health Centre 501 - 1st Avenue W Biggar, SK, S0K 0M0, including any services provided under the guidelines of the Long Term Care Home within Saskatchewan Health Authority. Equipment required: • 2 medication carts with narcotic lock box • Medication organization system for med room • 2 laptops if eMAR proposed • 2 pill crushers • Stock med box • Narcotic waste storage container The preferred medication dispensing method for Biggar and District Long Term care is strip packaging for regularly scheduled medications. In addition, the packaging method needs to separate PRN and scheduled narcotics and benzodiazepine (controlled medications) from regularly scheduled medications, with a preference of Bubble packaging for the controlled medications Biggar and District Health Center Long term care is not currently using eMAR but will be required in the future. The following is the anticipated schedule of events related to this RFP. These dates are provided as target dates only and may be changed at any time by SHA in its sole discretion: RFP Released June 23, 2025 End of Inquiries respecting RFP July 4, 2025 Final Addendum July 8, 2025 RFP Closing July 15 at 2:00 p.m. Evaluation/recommendation to Award Approval August, 2025 Start of Contract August, 2025 or as negotiated with the successful proponent
