Airservices is a government-owned organisation established in 1995 to provide air navigation and Aviation Rescue and Fire-Fighting (ARFF) Services at number of civilian airports in Australia. From the late 1970s, ARFF Services utilised Aqueous Film-Forming Foam in their fire-fighting training and operational activities that contained Per- and Poly-Fluoroalkyl Substances (PFAS). Airservices has developed this PFAS Management Panel to assist with the delivery of the holistic PFAS Program excluding Site Auditing Services to meet PFAS requirements across these locations. The PFAS Management Panel is divided into Service Categories aligned with the various disciplines and services required across the program. The Service Categories include : PFAS Professional Services PFAS Characterisation, Monitoring and Assessment PFAS Remediation - Design and Delivery PFAS Remediation - Design Only PFAS Remediation - Delivery Only including Minor Works PFAS Water Treatment - Design, Install and Maintain. Tenderers may tender for one or more Service Categories. The evaluation will be undertaken at a Panel level and for each Service Category. The aim of the evaluation is to ensure Airservices has the right mix of Contractors with the appropriate coverage, experience, capability, and capacity to maintain a high level of performance, and competitive tension within in each Service Category, to successfully deliver the PFAS Program.
