McMaster University invites qualified bidders to submit responses for the supply of PET and SPECT preclinical imaging systems that can perform quantitative imaging and dosimetry for therapeutic isotopes (e.g., Lu-177, Tb-161) on live animals (rats, mice) in accordance with the terms of this Request for Proposals.Bidders must quote the entire bid. Partial bids will not be accepted. The proposed PET and SPECT preclinical imaging systems are essential components of our radiopharmaceutical and theranostics research program within the newly established McMaster Institute for Radiopharmaceutical Imaging and Therapy (MIRIT). These instruments will enable in vivo validation of novel tracers and therapeutics developed at McMaster, supporting the full pipeline from isotope production and radiochemistry through to biological evaluation and clinical translation.In addition to conventional diagnostic imaging, we will also use these systems to study therapeutic radioisotopes such as lutetium-177 and terbium-161. These isotopes provide intrinsic imaging capability, allowing us to perform quantitative imaging and dosimetry without the need for separate companion PET tracers, which is highly valuable for theranostics development.The systems will be used to:* Evaluate biodistribution, pharmacokinetics, and target engagement of new radiopharmaceuticals* Track disease progression and therapeutic response in animal models* Perform quantitative imaging and dosimetry for therapeutic isotopes (e.g. ...
