This concerns: • PPE (including lab coats, cooking aprons, etc. for students), whereby a distinction is made between personal PPE (e.g. safety shoes for employees, chainsaw trousers) and generic PPE (such as cooking aprons or safety shoes for general use (including use by pupils and students)). In addition to supplying the PPE, the supplier must also manage and inspect the PPE. Carrying out management includes registration and advice on the PPE to ensure that the PPE is used appropriately, complies with laws and regulations and the duty of care regarding the use of PPE is demonstrably met.
