the american consulate general, frankfurt provides the following pre-solicitation notice regarding the issuance of a request for proposal (rfp) for:
perimeter fence upgrade project, us consulate general mumbai, india.
The regional procurement support office in frankfurt, germany, intends to issue a firm fixed-price construction type contract during the second quarter of calendar year 2017.
The successful contractor shall provide complete construction services, contract coordination, and supervision, including but not limited to the management and construction necessary to meet the requirements of this contract within the established timeframe.
The work includes among other construction activities, the furnishing all labor, equipment, materials, and tools to:
install a concrete wall and anti-climb fence;
raise the height of the existing concrete wall;
removal of existing metal fence and sandstone capping;
capping the top of the new wall with pink sandstone to match existing; and
installation of a 9 foot high temporary metal fence without handholds during construction.
It is anticipated that the magnitude of this project is between $100, 000.00 and $500, 000.00 u.s. Dollars for the entire project. It is anticipated for proposals to be due in june 2017, and it is intended to award the contract shortly thereafter.
