PERFORMING PREVENTIVE AND CORRECTIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICES ON ELEVATOR EQUIPMENT (hereinafter, “THE SERVICE”) IS INTENDED TO CONTRIBUTE TO THE OPTIMUM CONDITION, OPERATION AND CONSERVATION OF SUCH EQUIPMENT, IN ORDER TO PROLONG ITS USEFUL LIFE. THE ELEVATORS ARE USED ON A DAILY AND INTENSIVE BASIS TO FACILITATE THE SAFE AND EFFICIENT TRANSFER OF PATIENTS, STAFF, SUPPLIES, MEDICAL EQUIPMENT, AS WELL AS THE DISTRIBUTION OF FOOD AND CLOTHING, ESSENTIAL ACTIVITIES FOR THE OPERATION OF THE INSTITUTE NATIONAL RESPIRATORY DISEASES ISMAEL COSÍO VILLEGAS (hereinafter, “THE INSTITUTE”). GIVEN THE RELEVANCE AND CONSTANT USE OF THIS EQUIPMENT, IT IS ESSENTIAL TO HAVE PERMANENT AND ADEQUATE MAINTENANCE, WHICH GUARANTEES ITS CONTINUOUS OPERATION, SAFE AND RELIABLE, DIRECTLY IMPACTING THE QUALITY OF THE SERVICE PROVIDED TO THE CLINICAL, SURGICAL AND SPECIALTY AREAS, AS WELL AS THE SAFETY OF PATIENTS AND ALL STAFF WHO USE THE FACILITIES OF THE INSTITUTE. Performing the Preventive and Corrective Maintenance Service on Elevator Equipment (hereinafter, “the Service”) is intended to contribute to the optimal condition, operation and conservation of said equipment, in order to prolong its useful life. Elevators are used on a daily and intensive basis to facilitate the safe and efficient transfer of patients, personnel, supplies, medical equipment, as well as the distribution of food and clothing, essential activities for the operation of the hospital. National Institute of Respiratory Diseases Ismael Cosío Villegas (hereinafter, “the Institute”). Given the relevance and constant use of this equipment, it is essential to have permanent and adequate maintenance that guarantees its operation. Continuous, Safe and Reliable, Directly Impacting the Quality of the Service Provided to the Clinical, Surgical and Specialty Areas, As Well as the Safety of Patients and All Staff Who Use the Facilities of the Institute.
