Tenders are invited for perform an assessment of groundwater wells in Al Kafrein in the Jordan Valley to serve the localities in South Shouneh District
Al Kafrein Wells Assessment and Rehabilitation Project.
The Government Tenders Department (GTD, Procuring Entity) invites qualified international and Jordanian Construction Contractors eligible to the European Investment Bank (EIB) ("the bank"), that satisfy the qualification criteria set below, to submit tenders for the Al Kafrein Wells Assessment and Rehabilitation ("the Project"), as follows:
1 - Jordanian Construction Contractors classified by (GTD) as first Grade in the specialization of Wells Drilling; Or
2- International Contractors satisfy the below Qualification and Evaluation Criteria;
Or
3- Joint Venture (JV) of contracting firms. The JV shall be limited to (2) members. Tender Number at Jordan online E-procurement system (JONEPS) is: (2024000328-00).
1- Scope of Work
WAJ plans to perform an assessment of groundwater wells in Al Kafrein in the Jordan Valley to serve the localities in South Shouneh District. The project objective is to determine the current conditions of the groundwater wells and the aquifers to develop rehabilitation programs for the wells pumping systems (riser pipe, new pump, well head, metering and valves.... etc.) as necessary.
The project includes the following components:
• An initial inspection program of 7 existing production wells.
• The reporting of findings and recommendations from the initial well inspection program for potential rehabilitation activity.
• A subsequent program for well rehabilitation works (existing production wells).
• Post-rehab camera survey.
• Well performance (step drawdown) testing.
• 96-hour constant rate test for selected wells.
• Reinstatement.
• Other scope items.
The price of a copy of the tender documents is (250) JD (Non-refundable). Payment can be made through the eFAWTEERcom application, electronic payment via bank applications, or at the GTD chest located at the address noted below.
Tender documents can be collected by an authorized representative from GTD at the address noted below starting from March 7, 2024 up to March 18, 2024 or can be downloaded from Jordan online E-procurement system (JONEPS).
The bidder shall provide as part of its tender, an unconditional tender security in the name of His Excellency the Director General of the Government Tenders Department in addition to his post in the amount of 20, 000 USD, and to be valid for a period of 120 days from the submission date.
