his project addresses the threat of attacks on soft targets/crowded places, Improvised Explosive Device attacks, and active shooter/hostage incidents both with and without an IED threat from foreign terrorists and domestic extremists. The purchase of P.A.N. (Percussion Actuated Non-Electric Disruptor) stands with x-ray mounts will allow the bomb squad to respond to calls with suspected and actual IED-s. The P.A.N. stand allows for the placement of disruptors to render a device safe and support for x-ray panels/generators during x-ray diagnostic operations. These stands will replace the existing stands which are over 20 years old and reaching the end of their useful life.
