The defense information systems agency is looking for a contractor to perform a systemic preventive maintenance evaluation of the pentagon s 8m simulsat multibeam satellite antenna. Satellites "drift" within their geo-synchronous orbits, resulting in less than optimum signal reception. Orienting and re-alignment corrects the low noise blocker s (lnb) azimuth and elevation respective to the multi-beam antenna, thereby fine-tuning or "peaking" signal reception for a specific satellite carrier frequency at the department of defense, the pentagon, 1400 defense pentagon, washington, dc 20301-1400.
