Description : Project Description:PennDOT seeks a Service Provider to provide a solution that supports all business processes including hosting, management, infrastructure support, disaster recovery and security compliance for PennDOT’s existing IBM-compatible mainframe. The mainframe is host to roughly 100 applications, which includes mission critical applications such as Vehicle Registration and Driver Licensing. The Project is a result of PennDOT’s ongoing need for mainframe and proximity distributed services to operate key Penndot applications. These services will encompass various aspects, including but not limited to mainframe hardware and software services, distributed hardware and software services, 24x7 Help Desk and 24x7 Operations. Tasks and other requirements are contained in the Technical Submittal Template, Statement of Work, and other documents located in the RFP Buyer Attachments.
