Description : PROJECT NUMBER: DGS C-0251-0108 Phase 2 and 3PROJECT TITLE: PennDOT District 5 Engineering & Maintenance Campus – Demolition and New ConstructionPROJECT LOCATION: 3560 Old Route 22, Hamburg, PA 19526This Project is advertising for PROFESSIONAL SELECTIONS for design and/or engineering services. BRIEF DESCRIPTION: The scope of work is intended to prepare the site for future development demolition of existing buildings and features, excluding structures designated for preservation. Scope includes hazardous material abatement, utility removals, environmental controls, protection of remaining assets, and site restoration with backfill and rough grading. Work will be coordinated with regulatory agencies and sequenced to enable a smooth transition into Phase 3 construction. At some point during the execution of Phase 2, the Department will initiate negotiations with the selected Professional for Phase 3 – New Construction. Small Diverse Business (SDB) and Veteran Business Enterprise (VBE) participation requirements will be established by the Department for Phase 3 at that time.
