The Kymenlaakso welfare area has participated in the pilot phase of NHG Finland Oy's Administration and support services peer development project in 2025 - 2026. The pilot phase will be continued in the expert service of continuous comparison of administration and support services experiences, in which the costs, productivity, personnel, satisfaction and other indicators of administrative and support services are measured and compared using models, programs, comparison databases and other methods belonging to the service provider. Comparison takes place in other welfare areas participating in the service, which includes at least 6 in addition to the Kymenlaakso welfare area. The service thus provides reliable and up-to-date comparative information for results and operating methods from other welfare areas. The service enables identifying the level of activity, focusing development work and sharing best practices, as well as monitoring the realization of development goals in a cost-effective way.
