Tender Details

The work of a pediatric specialist at Kainuu Central Hospital. The children's ward has 12 patient beds, 4 of which are for newborns. There are approximately 750 births per year. The children's department also operates a day hospital and a baby day care center. The job includes working as a ward doctor during office hours (children's ward, newborn caren intensive care, newborn check-ups, day hospital, baby day) operation and the daytime on-call for specialized pediatric care. Participation in the training of specialist doctors and the development of the unit's quality is included in the job description. During on-call hours, the work includes a specialist in pediatricscasual emergency care in accordance with the operating practices of the Kainuu Central Hospital.

The content and structure of the working days are planned according to the current needs of the Kaks children's unit. The doctor providing the service must pay special attention to the well-considered laboratory and X-raysfor the use of investigations and guidance for follow-up care. Research requests and treatment practices must be based on the Kaeypae treatment recommendation / generally accepted operating methods. The medical record entries must be prepared appropriately during the work shift.
