Peace and order 2027 - 2034 Since 2015, based on the revised police law of the canton of Basel-Landschaft, the municipalities have been responsible for ensuring peace and order 365 days and 24 hours a day, while the police Basel-Landschaft is responsible for security. The Birsfelden community police provide relevant services during office hours. There is a policy for times outside office hours and for special or recurring situations additional need for supporting services in the area of peace and order. The subject of the procurement is security services in the area of peace and order for the Birsfelden municipality. The services to be provided include in particular: Receiving and processing reports via an on-call center, selective interventions in the event of an incident, a flexible intervention service (flex service) for time-limited priority areas as well as seasonal security and surveillance Patrol services at defined locations in the municipality.
