Description of the Consultancy: Integration of biodiversity into risk management systems and in the formulation of projects and credits of the first and second floors of the National Finance for Agricultural, Rural, Forestry and Fishing Development (FND). Estimated duration: 7 months Date Start: May 2020 End Date: December 2020 Project Number and Titleo: 00108628 Biodiversity Finance Initiative (BIOFIN) - Phase II Objective: Evaluate the FND`s Environmental and Social Management Administration System and propose improvements and recommendations for its implementation and monitoring; including suggestions for integrating biodiversity criteria. Designing, developing and implementing a pilot training program for technicians isspecialized and financial intermediaries to develop sustainable development projects financed through credits. Review, elaboration and implementation of at least three recommendations for improvement of the programs of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development (SADER) including biodiversity indicators to efficiently use the resources andgenerate the greatest possiblepositive impact.
